The Pro-LinkTM Plus Scan Tool is designed to guide technicians through the most complicated Heavy-Duty vehicle & marine engine tests using simple menus and message screens. This Pro-LinkTM Plus scan tool is designed to support all of Ignition King’s (and others') Heavy Duty Vehicle, Truck, & Equipment or Marine applications. It provides real-time data, diagnostic information and on-screen trouble code definitions. Pro-Link’s built-in "flight recorder" (snapshot feature) lets you record data on test drives, then review it back at your shop.
The Pro-LinkTM Plus includes an LCD display screen (4-lines, 20 characters per line) which can help identify difficult intermittent problems. The adjustable display the Pro-LinkTM is easy to read in different lighting conditions. The RS-232 serial port allows you to connect the unit to the Pro-LinkTM printer or a personal computer.

MULTI-PROTOCOL CARTRIDGE: The Multi-Protocol Cartridge (MPC) is an Intel-based Pro-LinkTM Plus compatible cartridge designed to diagnose the J1708, J1939, 160 Baud and ISO 9141 Heavy-Duty vehicle & Marine applications. It provides a new platform that greatly enhances the flexibility of the Pro-Link Plus. To address advanced capabilities provided by the manufacturers, the MPC uses PCMCIA cards compatible with most laptop mobile computers. The cards are plugged into the back of the unit, and provide additional functions unique to each manufacturer.
